En este evento fundamental se habló sobre el potencial de la biomasa para ayudar a cumplir los objetivos climáticos y de desarrollo sostenible y, como no podía ser de otra forma, CORDIS estuvo presente.

Last week the 27th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) was hosted in Lisbon, Portugal. This key event explored the potential of biomass to help achieve sustainable development and climate targets. CORDIS was proudly in attendance.

Letzte Woche wurde die 27. europäische Konferenz und Ausstellung zum Thema Biomasse, die European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE), in Lissabon, Portugal, veranstaltet. Auf dieser wichtigen Veranstaltung wurde untersucht, welches Potenzial Biomasse hat, um einen Beitrag für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung und zu den Klimaziele zu leisten. W strategii Komisji Europejskiej z 2018 roku na rzecz neutralności klimatycznej pt. „Czysta planeta dla wszystkich” stwierdza się, że osiągnięcie jej celu „będzie wymagało zwiększenia ilości biomasy w porównaniu z obecnym zużyciem”. To, czy sektor transportu będzie w stanie zrealizować stawiane przed nim cele, zależy od tego, jakie drogi obierzemy teraz.

«Une planète propre pour tous», la stratégie pour la neutralité climatique de 2018 élaborée par la Commission européenne indique que pour atteindre cet objectif «il faudra des quantités croissantes de biomasse par rapport à la consommation actuelle». L’atteinte de ces objectifs par le secteur du transport dépend des voies choisies maintenant.

De las opciones elegidas hoy dependerá que el sector del transporte alcance o no sus objetivos.

The European Commission’s 2018 climate neutrality strategy, ‘A Clean Planet for all’, states that reaching its goal ‘will require increasing amounts of biomass compared to today’s consumption.’ Whether the transport sector can meet targets depends on the pathways chosen now.
