Earlier this year, the VicInAqua project came to an end, a project that has successfully developed an integrated approach for wastewater management by providing an innovative and cost-effective solution for water sanitation.

Anfang des Jahres endete das Projekt VicInAqua, in dessen Rahmen erfolgreich ein ganzheitliches Konzept zur Abwasserwirtschaft entwickelt werden konnte. Dazu wurde eine innovative und kostengünstige Lösung zur Wasseraufbereitung geschaffen.

This month we catch up with the DevelopAKUre project which we featured in our February 2019 special section on rare diseases. The project was working on a full commercialisation of nitisinone, an innovative treatment for alkaptonuria (AKU), an extremely rare condition.
