Nel 2020 un’attività di ricerca condotta nell’ambito del progetto HEAT-SHIELD, finanziato dall’UE, ha riscontrato che un’esposizione diretta e prolungata alla luce solare compromette le prestazioni motorie e cognitive. Da allora ha fornito importanti conoscenze e materiali di orientamento sull’impatto negativo che lo stress da calore sul luogo di lavoro ha sulla salute e sulla produttività del personale in diversi settori, quali turismo, agricoltura, industria manifatturiera, edilizia e trasporti.

En 2020, des recherches menées dans le cadre du projet HEAT-SHIELD, financé par l’UE, ont révélé que l’exposition directe et prolongée à la lumière du soleil avait un effet négatif sur les performances motrices et cognitives. Depuis lors, ce projet a produit d’importantes études et plusieurs documents d’orientation relatifs à l’impact négatif du stress thermique au travail sur la santé et la productivité des professionnels dans les secteurs du tourisme, de l’agriculture, de la fabrication, de la construction et des transports.
